PYO Fruit & Vege

A Pick Your Own (PYO) Fruit & Vege Experience is a great adventure to embark on with your toddler. Fletcher still talks about our visit to the Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm last year. We are hanging out for the PYO Strawberry season to start again!

Here is a list of South East Queensland and Northern NSW farms offering the unique opportunity to pick-your-own produce.

Before heading out on your Pick Your Own Adventure with your Toddler, avoid disappointment by reaching out to your choosen destination to confirm PYO is available on the day.

Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm , Chambers Flat in Logan

PYO available from August to October. Find out all about it here from our visit last year.

Cooloola Berries, Wolvi on the Sunshine Coast

PYO Strawberries open June to November. PYO Blueberries open December to January. Sunflowers January Only.

Forest Dragon Fruit Farm, Forestdale in Logan

Family owned and operated Dragon Fruit Farm that offer public fruit picking. Check their website and Facebook Page for details.

Freeman’s Organic Farm, Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast

Mums & Bubs Day Out every Friday at 10am every child that participates gets to pick their own fresh strawberries to eat! and Farm Tours every Sunday from 12.30 – 1.30pm where children are also invited to pick their own seasonal vegetables for free. 

Luvaberry Farm, Wamuran in the Moreton Bay Region

From July through to September, join Luvaberry Farm on weekends for a family fun day out. Book activities from pick your own strawberries, morning yoga with breakfast to Panda’s Playtime for the kids.

McMartin’s Strawberry Farm, Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast

Open 8:30am to 4:30pm 7 days from the end of May to mid October. Website says PYO is available every day!

Rolin Farms, Elimbah on the Sunshine Coast

PYO is available from early July to October.

Strawberry Fields Farm, Palmview on the Sunshine Coast

There season is by June to November but they do not provide a specific PYO session. Check their Facebook Page for details.

The Longan Farm, Narangba in the Moreton Bay Region

Pick Longans (similar to a Lychee) from the tree yourself. Trees are small so no ladder needed. Only open weekends (but not alway every weekend) from 9am to 3pm. Check their Facebook Page for advertised open days.

Tropical Fruit World, Duranbah Northern NSW

More Farm Tour than PYO. One package includes guided tractor tour, fruit tasting session, bushland boat cruise & more.
