Introducing Kangatraining…….
Kangatraining is a fun baby wearing fitness program.
This amazing program creates a fun and safe place for you and your little ones so you can connect, move and strengthen your body with your baby close to you.
Kangatraining is more than a fitness program, mum’s come together, chat and make friends. You will dance and have fun. And your baby will enjoy it too!
Classes are ideal for babies to toddlers. Small children who are too big for a carrier are welcome as they can start to dance and “carry” their own “babies”. Older kids are welcome as long as they are occupied or join in.
Thursday from 9.45 to 10.45am at Ormeau Community Centre on Cuthbert Drive during school terms.
Friday from 9.45 to 10.45am at Pimpama School of Arts Community Centre: 15 Clark Way during school terms.

KangaTrail (Coming 8th March)
KangaTrail is for Mum’s and Bub’s in carriers that love walking, talking and exercising at the same time!
This class takes you on various walking tracks in our area with short exercise intervals that concentrate on your thighs, buttocks, abdominals and your pelvic floor.
KangaTrail is definitely more than just a walk with your baby. KangaTrail is an effective way to increase your cardiovascular endurance while increasing your strength.
KangaTrail starts on the 8th March. Email Renee for more information and to secure a spot.
KangaMix (Coming early March)
KangaMix is for Mum’s with bigger or multiple children who like the idea of KangaTrail but allows for children in pushers. As these programs are a brisk walk all children must be in carrier or pusher for safety. Email Renee for more information and to secure a spot.
Toddler Review
Fletcher, Harper and I attended the first ever KangaMidi class held at the Jacobs Well Community Centre and had an absolute blast. Renee has put together a really fun and engaging program to get your 3 to 5 years moving, playing, engaging and interacting.
The KangaTraining classes for Mums and Bubs has been really well received by local Mums in Ormeau and Pimpama and I am hoping to go out and give one a try real soon. I am going to try and get Harper into a carrier but also know I can leave her on the ground and we can dance and move together if my two year old wants to do things her way!
I am also excited for KangaTrail which has a trial class coming up in March in Pimpama and I know Harper will be excited to take part in a KangaTinies classes once they are available.
If you are looking to join a fitness class where you can bring your bub, toddler or small children along – have fun – meet and chat with other Mums, take advantage of the KangaTraining trial passes for $10 or $5 if you bring a friend and give it a go!
