Toddler Review
Another great park for toddlers but really for the whole family too. Crammed full of things to do, it is easy to stay for a number of hours or the whole day. Doug Larsen Park would also make a fabulous park birthday party location.
When we visit we make sure to pack the duck food and the viewing platform over the water is our first stop. We then take a walk throughout the whole park, my toddlers now usually ride their trikes. We stop on the way to feed more ducks or for a quick play on one of the many playgrounds spread out in the park.
As we circle back around we often stop for a picnic lunch if we don’t plan a visit to the nearby Tin Cup Cafe whilst we are in Beenleigh. After that we head to the main playground at the entrance of the park to climb the many structures, jump on trampolines, go on the swings and slides and much more.
The only problem with Doug Larsen Park is trying to get my toddlers to leave to go home for a nap!
What to pack (suggestions)
- Hats and sunscreen
- Snacks and Water Bottles
- Ride on trikes and bikes
