Kids Play Area

The indoor games room has a TV and PlayStation 3’s with the latest games and a number of consoles. The outdoor playground can be accessed from the games room or a gate in the outdoor dining area. The playground is fully fenced and is undercover. The playground plastic play structure is similar to what you will find in a McDonald’s play area and has towers, houses, slide, cockpit space and interactive games.

The Food

We placed a mobile order which was super easy. Simply scan the QR code with your phone’s camera to access the website to access the menu and place your bistro food and drink order whilst you sit at your table. Your order is then delivered to your table when ready.

Just like the Coomera Lodge and Hope Island Tavern, Beenleigh Tavern have the super affordable $6 Design Your Own Kid’s Meals. You can also add an ice cream or frog in the pond jelly dessert for $2 or a juice or soft drink for $3. The Build Your Own Kid’s Meal feature allows you to customise your kid’s meals from their Mix & Match options, perfect for the fussy or not so fussy eaters. Also good for Mum’s as it give us the ability to add some veggies to the kid’s meals.

The la carte menu has all your pub classics including Burgers, Fish & Chips Fisherman’s Basket, Grilled Barramundi, Steaks, Pasta and a range of Parmy’s to choose from.

Atmosphere and Staff

The staff were really friendly at Beenleigh Tavern. The main bistro area is large, open and inviting. You have the option to dine indoors or in the outside undercover dining area.

Toddler Review

When we arrived at Beenleigh Tavern the staff were super friendly and helpful from the get go. They were quick to show us to our table which has right near the kids games room entrance. They provided the kids with their paper colour in menus and pencils so the children could colour whilst Mum and Dad decided what to order.

Of all the Australian Venue Co. pubs we have visited recently, Beenleigh Tavern has the largest kids play area. They have a kid’s TV and game room which you can access from the main restaurant area. There is a door from the games room that leads to the undercover outdoor playground. You can also access this playground via a gate in the outdoor dining space. The playground is fully fenced and the games room is an enclosed room. The games room and playground combination ensures that Beenleigh Tavern will entertain a wide range of kids. And no matter the weather, kids will have fun because everything is undercover.

I love the design your own kid’s menu set-up and the kid’s meals are great for $6 each. The main menu has plenty of options and feature a lot of pub classics. We tried the French Parmy and Fettuccini Carbonara and both meals were good.

If you are in Logan or the Northern Gold Coast, Beenleigh Tavern is just off the M1 and well worth visiting if you are looking for a good venue for a family friendly lunch or dinner.
